Legal background and Framework
The Company is currently incorporated as a Private limited company.
GEIT is in the process of inviting selected potential shareholders in the country and in the Diaspora to raise the required limited capital.

Company Structure
GEIT currently has the following organization structure:

General Meeting of Share Holders
The highest decision making body of GEIT will be the general meeting of share holders. The meeting will normally be held semi annually. On an annual basis, the general meeting will be held to approve the EMC’s report and of the external auditors’ report, and also to elect members of the executive management committee. A general meeting could be held more often and as required according to the company statutes as deemed extraordinary.

Executive management committee (EMC)
The highest business administration and business decision making unit representing share holders. The committee is constituted as follows:

• Elected professional advisors*
• General Manager

General Manager
The activities of GEIT are executed by the general manager who is also a member of the Executive management committee.
*A combination of professionals and dignitaries to be elected from a community of qualified individuals by the EMC and shareholders.

Leadership:
GEIT will be run by professional Managers and executives under the guidance and auspices of the executive management committee (EMC). The committee is the highest decision making body. The committee will have a chair person, a deputy chair person and a secretary whose responsibility and accountability is to the voting share holders of the company.
Currently, W/ro Selome Gerima: One of the founding share holders; is serving as the chair-person and general manager of GEIT, until a management team is recruited by GEIT during the pre-operational phase of implementation.

Organization and Management
GEIT has a team of energetic and highly positive individuals with extensive experience, expertise, and network in the areas business it is planning to operate in. With a track record in the property management, entertainment and IT industries, the founders of GEIT are very much bullish about its future.
GEIT will be managed and operated by hired Professional managers that have proven record and experience to do so. The fundamental principle of differentiating between ownership and management will be respected to allow for undeterred performance, transparency and accountability to all share holders.
